Sometimes it feels like
I’m screaming in the desert,
and no one hears me.

About me

I am a person who, apart from my family, enjoys history and studies and follows political developments both in the Czech Republic and abroad. I focus on security issues and geopolitical contexts, and when I need to “switch off,” I do so in the air, piloting various types of aircraft, preferably historical ones.

I was born in 1974, and although I was “only” fifteen years old at the time of the fall of the communist regime, this life experience gave me a deep aversion to all forms of authoritarian regimes and regimes that restrict civil liberties.

I had the fortune, or the misfortune, depending on your point of view, to visit all five continents of our planet, except for Antarctica. Thanks to this, I have, on one hand, many friends literally all over the world, and on the other hand, I have seen more human suffering than I would have liked. I know that as an individual, I have no chance of changing what bothers me about humanity, namely violence against the weak and vulnerable, but I tell myself that if I speak out about it and talk to the right people, I might help at least someone.

My professional life has taken me from temporary jobs and short-term positions in demanding manual labor professions to high managerial positions in both business and public administration in the Czech Republic and eventually abroad. I honestly do not regret any work experience, and if I had to name them all, I would surely forget some, so I’ll just mention two that have significantly shaped me—CIMEX HOLDING and the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic.

In my free time, I try to combine my love of flying and historical technology with work in the nonprofit sector. I am currently fully involved in two projects: TMFC z.s. and Skupina D z.s.

If you want to get to know my perspective on the world better, you have the opportunity through my podcast “Voice in the Desert.” Besides my personal comments, you can also get to know my friends, with whom we try to draw attention to possible threats to our society.

In Syria, the future of Europe is also at stake, but it doesn’t seem like our leaders understand that
Have you also noticed that suddenly there’s no talk about Ukraine, Gaza, or Lebanon? I won’t even bother pointing out that there’s no mention of Yemen, Sudan, Mali, and many other countries around the world where people are suffering just as much—if not more.

Politicians Always Look for Mistakes Everywhere but in Themselves
After every election—here in the West, where we still have free elections despite their imperfections—politicians seem genuinely shocked when they face a defeat. Enclosed in their bubbles and surrounded by yes-men who depend on public funds and ...
